    Question Low Test Levels Advice!

hope this is in the right section?
to cut a long story short went to the Docs i`m worried about low test ( due to AAS use in the past),used PCT but if im being honest not the correct way, HCG & NOV`, i had a full screen blood test , glucose levels , etc as i been feeling pretty Poo.
Rang up a week later was told all levels fine! "Ok so what my test levels?? Serum Testosterone levels are 12.85 , "what's the range??" was told I'm just a receptionist I don't know?? , looked on Google can't find any ranges as such, I've made another appointment to see the Doc and ask for more info, is their anything I should be asking them specifically??, is their other testosterone levels i can ask for Free test?? Got a feeling I'm gonna get palmed off.
I've been on anti depressants, sex drive zero, mood low, etc etc ...
    Is 12.85 low high_ anybody??

    Thanks

Not enough information. Did you get a printout of your lab report?

The answer varies based on if testing total testosterone, free testosterone, or if it's a combined test that compares the two and shows how much testosterone is bound to the receptors.

Normal for total is now 350-1195 (until recently it was 200-800)
Normal for free is less (I don't remember what it is)

And it depends on the lab doing the testing and the testing method they use. Without this information, there is no answer. Different labs assign different values.

Need the scale to know what you are asking about. Best thing to so is go back to the doc and have him/her explain it to you.

He's in England and I think they use nanomoles per liter and 12.85 is on the low end of "normal"; equivalent to approx 400 nanograms per deciliter. Now this level is less than optimal, but not a smoking gun for the symptoms you describe. Perhaps you will be better suited to have a complete panel to look for another explanation. For example, a lot of guys will have issues if E2 is low/high. To make your research easier ask for the lab print out with reference ranges.
