Klonopin has an extremely long half-life and it builds up in your system. I have been told that the withdrawals are the worst and can last for months. I'll stick with my faithful xannies when I have occasional anxiety or during heavy tren cycles.

Just work on yourself without the drugs.

My ex started taking xanax and turned into a lying retard zombie and CANNOT get off it. I broke up with her for it because she became a totally different and SHITTY person. You can't see it when on but these drugs do fuk you up and everyone else notices. And like others have said you could probably quit smoking crack easier then quitting xanax.

The side effects aren't worth it, man up and realize when you have a panic attack that everything will be OK. take some deep breaths and get back to reality, because in reality it's not that bad. Whats bad is when you let your mind wander to the 1,000,000 things that aren't perfect in your life and give yourself anxiety and panic, and xanax stops you from doing that. Realize your mind is the only thing causing a panic attack and is also the only thing that can stop it.

That's the thing: Take one drug like Xanax and give it to one hundred different people and you will get one hundred different side effect combinations. But the intended effect is to lessen anxiety which it does rather well. The side effects will mostly pass for most people. Also Xanax isn't meant to be taken every day because it's addictive.

It's also for social anxiety which can have negative social side effects. Apparently your exgirlfriend had some negative social side effects.

She was on 100% legit prescription from her psychiatrist for 5 1mg tabs A DAY. 5 blues a day, prescribed for over three years straight and still going.

I'm just saying in general the drugs will just cover the anxiety or whatever and when you come off it will still be there anyway, and you have to deal with coming off, which makes these drugs super addictive.

I realize it's a legitimate prescription but that doesn't change the fact that Xanax is not meant to be taken every day, especially 5 times a day. It doesn't take long to build an addiction for it. It's a "take it only when you need it" pill.

It doesn't just cover up the anxiety. It goes away. Makes it so you can function to either get past or take care of whatever is firing up the anxiety.

    This is experience talking.
