Klonopin is a bit milder than xanax, but if you have serious panic attacks, Knonopin might not be strong enough. Xanax is the most commonly used drug for serious debilitating panic attacks. Klonopin is usually used for milder anxiety disorders.

Have you read the warning on Kolonopin? who needs a side of maybe thinking of suicide. And withdrawl is bad from Kolonopins, sudden stopping of this drug can make one crazy. Yes thay are just words till it happens to you.

Lexapro has really helped me. I took it for six months (10mg) & have been off for 1.5 years now & no panic attacks. Just be carefull coming off the drug though. You need to stop gradually (go down to 5mg), otherwise you become severely depressed.

To me klonipin is a much cleaner feeling drug. When i use xanax i feel very tired, of coarse i feel good, but it drags your ass down. on the other hand klon does not give me the lethargy just the feel good. Everyones different though.

2-3 xanax and 3-4 beers and you'll have zero chance of having a panic attack.

My doc put me on effexor (ant-depr) and xanax. The xanax blows since he only gives me .25mg pills. But, that effexor has eliminated a ton of my old issues. Everything from suicidal tendoncies to major depression and anxiety attacks. I was gonna see if I could switch up to valium and see if that works any better.

Bro, tell him the .25mg isn't helping when a major attack kicks in and you need something else or to up the dose...

Try taking 2 or 3 and see if you get what you need...

Just don't tell your Doc you are double dosing...

Yeah i have taken more than th "1 3x day". upward to 3mg depending on how bad it got. He's a bit of a stingy prick with the benzos thought. And with pain pills.

I shattered abouth 9 inches of my distal radius, plates, fixator bars ,the works.(physical therepy was 3 months) My wife pickd up my script and he put me on some opoid called Nucynta... it's exspensive as hell and doesn't do shit for the pain.

Fuck that, tell him he has an obligation to help you out with pain and panick attacks and that if he can't help you out then you will be looking for another Dr. Remind him he works for you...

And what the fuck is Nucynta?...

Tell him look give me some Norcos or perks, I am in fucking pain bitch...

The problem might be that opioids and barbiturates are a dangerous mix and he doesn't want to prescribe both at high levels...

I had roxi's 10mg for a while from my orthopedic surgeon... then my Primary Care stepped in and said he would handle it, because there were times that I couln't get my scripts refilled.

Nucynta is a newer opoid.. (synthetic opiate, like Ultram/Tramadol) and the only thing it did was give me irregular heart palpitations when I tried to come off. I when crazy the past 3 days with the xanax just to get off that stupid pain med.

Tramadol sucks for pain, I get a bad case of shortness of breath with it... I stay away from trams...

Percs and Norcos work good bro... the best is methadone... 1 dose will last you all day untill the next morning pain free... You just can't use it every day and get hooked... well you can, but good luck getting off those...

Yeah i hear you... part of my issue is, that I need something I can legally drive on. I work union construction and travel from power plant to plant. Seems like I get pulled over at least once every job. Plus I have to little boys (23 month, and 11 month old) So it's kind of a catch 22

it's chronic... when I shattered my wrist I tore all the ligaments in my hand, which got pinned back together, and when the joint seperated it took about have the cartilage. I had an external fixator bar drill into my forearm and then into my wrist to keep it in traction.
Nothing seems to work though. I've tried viks percs, roxicet, tramadol and a few other I can't think of right now.

i have been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety since i was 15 and diagnosed with those ant post traumatic stress disorder , also i worked at my cousins dr office for about two years , klonopin is not fast acting like xanax , thats why xanax is prescribed for panic attacks and anxiety where klonis are more for just anxiety , a xanax is in ur system roughly 10x faster than a kloni would be , i have tried them all and the only that worked was xanax , i am on 2mg xany bars 3x a day and i tried just about every other benzo and none worked as fast , if u go onto drugs.com it states that xanax is the fasest acting benzo , but has one of the shortest half lifes

If you really can't get through work with the pain and need something that doesn't get you all buzzed try methadone...

It just has a bad stigma since it's used for Heroin addiction treatment, but many people use is for chronic back pain...

It's not like other pain killers, you are fully alert and functional and is incredible for pain... It was made by the Germans, "you know the Germans always make good stuff"

1 40mg Paxil a day makes for smooth sailing in my world. Mostly. I love the xanax. Wish I still had some for the really rough spots.
