    Feeling sick while working out?

Had a personal trainer today, and she was pushing me to my limits for the first time since iv been working out.
After the session i became light headed and felt sick.

I was running late and only ate two pieces of toast before my session and she said it was most likley that.
    Anyone else had this before?

what's your diet like? If you're on a keto type diet or a very low cal dietand this is the first time you really pushed yourself that might be it.

or it might be that you did not hydrate enough - before and during.

next time I would have some slow carbs about an hour before and then make sure to hydrate.

Could be a number of things. Not enough food or hydration like has been said already is possible. I've heard of people getting sick because they ate too much close to a workout but you said you did the opposite so it isn't that. Sounds more like you body wasn't prepared for how hard you got pushed and it tried to make you back off. The body can only handle so much stress before it starts to break down and tell you "Hey! Back off!" Just make sure you eat and drink enough before a workout and get used to pushing yourself a little harder each workout and your body will adapt to the stress and be less likely to crash on you.
