There was a show on Discovery that looked at the medicinal uses of honey. It was pretty interesting. Some guy volunteer to have a doctor give him a pretty nasty abrasion wound on each forearm. The arm with the honey was only a day or so behind the conventional antibiotic cream. Interesting stuff.
