lactose and stevia
I just started a diet called the "southbeach diet" which is big on using foods with a low glycemic index. Anyway after a little research I came up stevia as a good sugar substitute. Turns out the first ingredient in stevia product is lactose. Whats the deal? Is the lactose gonna screw things up? Is stevia better by it's self?
Any suggestions? |

I have never seen Stevia with Lactose in it, not to say there isn't any. But stevia is a natural product from a herb.
Look around for other stevia products. Stevia is a really strong sweetener. http://www.healthy.net/nutrit/kitchen/foods/stevia.asp |

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Dont buy the stevia with the lactose...it is being used as a filler so the company can rip you off and make a few extra bucks...while screwing up your diet...the pure stuff is out there!

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.
When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us. |
