Biggest one is tingling and shooting pain down the back of your leg on whatever side is affected due to nerve impingement. Depending on the severity it can go partially down or all the way down to the ankle - in some cases making the leg or foot go numb.

A sharp pain on my left side of my ass, like a deep down pain. Also some straining feeling on my groin on the left side although that may be something in addition to this other pain. I get a sharp pain my foot, a pulsating feeling.

Sounds like sciatica to me. Try this stretch:

Lie on your back and bring your affected leg up towards your chest until it is bent at a 90 degree angle with your knee pointing straight up and then slowly pull your knee across the midline of your body to stretch your hip.

You may also want to stretch your glutes and piriformis on the same side and that may alleviate some of the pressure.

Stretch the snot out of your left side and if that doesn't work, I can try to walk you through flossing the nerve which may loosen it up, but it is dangerous and can knock you unconcious if done improperly.

Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

How about you send me a PM about flossing the nerve, so I'm just aware of it. And I'll try the stretches. Thanks.

the stretches are a great idea....many times piriformis is the cause of sciatica so stretching it to try and alleviate the pain worth trying.

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.
