Get bigger muscles. The bigger the muscle the more vascular you become, because they need increased blood supply. Also not all people can have huge veins like that. Me for example... I get a whole bunch of little ones instead of a few big ones.

Big friggin muscles, and watch the bodyfat, the rest is genetics somewhat and blood volume. A bicep 3x more massive than yours needs more blood, thats just how it is

the veins in your body can get bigger. the muscles in your vein walls hypertrophy as a result of massive blood flow. something like that.....

and low bodyfat.

They get bigger, I dont think new ones are formed, or if they are then not for long distance but maybe one of the docs will comment.

Exercise increases the number of capillaries in the muscles so that oxygen and fuel are delivered more easily to the individual muscle cells .

These same capillaries atrophy and disappear in sedentary people
putting them at risk for cardiovascular disease.

for the most part everyone has the same basic veins (the ones you would find in an anatomy book...(like the brachiocephalic vein in the arm)

it is tru that these veins can grow larger as a result of increased need for blood drainage from the muscle...so it is true that a bigger muscle needs more blood (supplied by arteries) and that blood needs to be drained from the muscle (drained by veins)

lower bodyfat makes the vein more apparent (the degree to which this happens depends on how superficial your veins are and how thin your skin is...(a genetic thing)

you can develop what is called collateral circulation (new vein and artery growth)...this happens through the years as you continue to train...you constantly require more blood movement so the body grows more vasculature to meet the demand more effectively.

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us.
