Question Stretch Marks

I DON'T WANT TO BRAG, BUT I THINK HAVE TO TO ASK THIS QUESTION.

I JUST STARTED WORKING OUT LESS THAN A MONTH AGO AND I AM GETTING BIG! (COMPARED TO A WHEN I STARTED) I DON'T KNOW MAYBE THAT'S NORMAL. I DON'T KNOW TO MANY OTHER PEOPLE THAT WORK OUT SO I REALLY CANT COMPARE WITH ANY ONE. BUT IF I KEEP UP AT THE RATE THAT I AM GOING I THINK MY SKIN WILL PROBABLY RIP OPEN.

I'VE USED COCO BUTTER TO REDUCE SCARING FROM OPEN WOUNDS I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE I SAME EFFECT, OR IS THERE ANY PRODUCTS ANYONE CAN RECOMMEND THEY THINK WOULD WORK BETTER.

P.S. ABOUT MY PROGRESS IS THIS NORMAL DO YOU USUALLY GET THIS BIG THIS QUICK IN THE BEGINNING, IF SO DOES IT SLOW DRAMATICALLY IM REALLY NOT SURE WHAT TO EXPECT.

ANY INFORMATION WOULD HELP OUT A LOT THANKS EVERYONE

Turn off your caps lock - that is my first advice.

Next - buy some Mederma and apply liberally. That will help reduce the amount of stretch marks you get and help fade some of the others.

Sorry about the caps, and thank you for the information

Would you recommend applying it already, or soon? As of now I dont have any. Ive only gained an inch and a half in my chest and an inch in my arms. Would it be a waist of money at this point?

Generally speaking, people who don't have enough skin elasticity, will get stretch marks.

Here. This may help you to understand a little better.

Stretch marks occur when the tissue under your skin tears from rapid growth or stretching. When the skin is over-stretched, it produces too much collagen deposits under the skin .

This is not too uncommon in body builders because of the rapid body changes that body building can produce. Obesity can also lead to stretch marks. The most common condition is pregnancy, which also is a rapid change in body composition and mass.

At first, your stretch marks are reddish or purplish lines, but they will turn lighter (whitish or flesh-colored) and almost disappear over time. My stretch marks from pregnancy have mostly disappeared two years after the birth of my daughter but I have some residual ones left.

I would not stress out over them since there is a high liklihood your stretch marks will usually fade and become less noticeable over time.

Although there are tons of products on the market that claim to eliminate stretch marks, the truth is you can't make them go away without the use of a form of plastic surgery called microdermabrasion. If you are concerned about your stretch marks, talk to a dermatologist. (They charge alot less than plastic surgeons )

also load up on the vitamin c....it may or may not help with the stretch marks but it is a major player in collagen formation and this could be part of your problem....even if it doesnt help with the marks it is a great antioxidant and anybody who lifts should be taking extra C (at least)

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

Do what the Doc said, along with applying Vitamin E lotion w/ coco butter 3-4 times daily. Especially after a nice hot shower.
