ways to prevent from getting sick?

hey everyone, i've got a little dilemma on my hands... i leave in 4 days for my trip to florida, but the problem is i can feel myself getting sick... nothing serious yet... just a scratchy throat, stuffy nose and extremely mild case of the chills... anyways, i know there might not be much i can do to prevent it from getting worse but if anyone knows some helpful remedies please post them because i'm desperate to not become sick right before my vacation!

Ahh thats easy :

Start taking Echinecha + Goldenseal 3 times daily along with 500mg of Vitamin C - 3 times daily.

Also increase your intake of fluids, mostly water / orange juice ( vitamin C )

Continue to take a multivitamin each morning, and 500 U.I of Vitamin E - 3-4 times ED.

Goodluck man. Oh yeah, Rest. Get like 8-10 hours of sleep each night leading up to the vacation.

I prefer Echinacea + Goldenseal but hey ... that is just me.

Seriously increase your intake of fluids, you can really "think" thank you took enough but actually didnīt. Track your water intake. Three litters per day minimum.

That's about it, but most likely if you have a cold coming on like you say it's unavoidable. Doing the above might decrease the length of the cold.

Glutamine seems to really help my immune system as well. It might be too late for you, but it does help.
