what kind of shift do you work and what kind of shift did you work before it changed?

if your "clock" is off from the shift change try some melatonin for a few nights and see if that helps "reset" your clock a bit.

B-complex is always a good idea and maybe some ginseng.

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

Thanks!!

sounds to me as though you need more sleep. 5-7 hours isnt much. aim for at least 8.
also, try and cut back on stress levels. different ways to approach this but that too can have an effect on energy levels.

Try valerian root and or melatonin.

Also, a caffeine free pick me up -try GO by Black Star Labs.

if the melatonin is making you groggy it is most likely because you arent getting enough sleep, you are taking too many mg's, or a combination of the two...sounds like you just dont get enough sleep.

the amount of sleep people require varys greatly....Einstein used to only get 3 hours a night and i would say he functioned pretty damn well....i need at least 5 and do best in the 6-8 range depending on how strenuous of a day i had.

graveyard and swing shifts wreak havoc on biorhythms so melatonin is probably the best bet.....some people find that 5-HTP works better and gets out of the system quicker....but it is a heck of alot more expensive...so maybe give it a shot if melatonin doesnt cut it for you.

a good, clean diet split into multiple meals per day is also a great way to increase energy if you arent already eating healthy.

Been using GO. Works pretty good. I use it for my first break at work to get me through the night for that pick me up. But it may look like I need to use it more then.
Thanks!!!
