Body fat estimator

Got this link from another board........It's showing my body fat at 14%.
Just wondering how acurate it is,maybe some of you, that know your BF % could see if this calculator is some what accurate.

I am thinking I am much closer to number 2, at least I hope.

i don't think it will be very accurate for women (or some women at least). it has me a lot lower than i really am right now - mainly b/c even "fat" i have a fairly small waist. the first calculation shows me at 16% and the second at 3.4%. i wish the 16% were right....but today i'm still higher than that.

neither is correct as least from my last test ... I was at 13%

average of both 12.5 still not bad

With a scale of 9-26.3%, I think its safe to say that this isnt a very accurate test.

i'm still surprised it doesn't ask gender. at 5' 9" my waist is a lot smaller than your average 5' 9" guy (that's why it thinks my bodyfat is 3.4%

)

but my a*s is a lot bigger and it doesn't take that into account (thank heavens)

You should be pretty damn solid for your height then, nice job. The #1 figure would be similar to what Canada does, they look at height and weight to determine obesity, nothing more.
