Well has any one here had one ? Secondly if you cut the tube that takes the testosterone into your body what will happen to your muscles ? I like to work out and if this sudden lack of Test. will seriously affect it i dont want to have it done. Or do you take pills to conteract the effects later. Any advice would be helpfull.

I had one done about 9 years ago. The tube takes the sperm from your testicles and it mixes with the semen from your prostate. When it is cut, no more sperm. It has nothing to do with the testosterone your testicles produce. The testosterone is absorbed by your body. I believe I still produce testosterone, and least my wife is still a happy woman.

They give you two local shots, one on each side. When they give you the shots it feels like someone kicked you in the balls, well it isn't quite that bad, but it wasn't comfortable. Then they wait until it is numb and then snip snip you are done. You can watch the entire procedure.

The hardest part is shaving your balls, do not use Nair.

Never wanted kids and i screwed up and had one. Really bad situation cause she thought it was my buddies and so did he and then they got married and now i pay 712.00 a month in child support. (yes she was on the pill) Big headach and i feel bad for the baby and everything. So I figured i'd nip the problem untill i really was ready for kids.

Yea i could wear a rubber but i can't stay hard in one, and Viagra doesn't work for me so I figured this would work.

I think everyone should be nipped untill they can prove to be parents. Would solve alot of problems in my book.

I had to go through a battery of questions, watch a movie, had to sign some forms, my now ex-wife had to sign forms to have this procedure done. I had to swear I was done having kids at 3.

Do not, and I repeat do not believe that this can be reversed 100%. Not that the doctor will even do it when you tell him you would have this done until you are ready for kids. He probably won't do it.

Some doctors carterize the ends of the tubes after cutting them, this is a permanent thing.

Think very long and hard about this, although no doctor will perform this unless you are absolutely sure you are done with having children.

Im pretty sure im done. I move like every 6 months due to my job (millitary contract) sometimes im in other countries and i just dont really want to have a family toted around. I've been debating on this for alomost a year and have seen a few doctors about it. They say im young but can also see why i want it done. Im suppose to have it done at the end of the month.

I didn't want to have kids and changed my mind in my thirties. (I was all career and my racing). Why don't you put your sperm in a sperm bank (like Lance Armstrong did before his testicles were removed due to the testicular cancer...you know, the Tour de France winner 5 years in a row ) and you can use it later if you change your mind. The vasectomy reversal has only close to 50% chance of reversal depending on the surgery and study and then even if the "pipes" were opened, the sperm is not as fertile, so to speak, (theory is you have developed antibodies to your own sperm, but we really don't know why).

You can have it done now with lasers, my buddy at work had it done and was back at work in no time.

I did plan on donating some sperm or banking it "just in case". You would think with technology they could just poke a hole in your nut and pull some out or something.
