I have a Hiatal Hernia which has not been removed and it hasn't affected my work outs. CanaDan can help you. He had surgery and is working out. Maybe you two can hook up

I've had 3 hernias. 2 inguinal and 1 umbilical. Just gotta be carefull and not strain that area to hard. My last surgery was last May, I was lifting again 30 days after.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I had surgery for Inguinal Hernia in 2001, i started working out a month later but started off very very light (with just a bar) as was worried about getting one on other side but never had any problems since.
