advanced information about muscle shape

I joined here because I am looking for a book or something about muscle shape. I have been working out for about 8 years now, and I am looking for information on what exercises stress what parts of specific muscles. for example, incline press does your upper pec and decline does your lower, as everyone knows. preferably this book would be very in depth. other examples of specifics would be curls- what exercises are good for inner bicep, what exercises promote growth towards the elbow where I have about a three inch gap when the bicep is flexed....

If you want to achieve things that others can't...

You have to do things that others won't.

im talking about isolating certain regions of a muscle, when you do that they grow...and if you control which regions you want to grow then you control what the muscle looks like, its "shape"

Ok, whats your question. Is it that you want to find info on shaping a muscle? Well it cant be done, so sorry I cant help you.

If its on isolating specific muscles, specify which ones.(Btw, you CANT isolate parts of the pectoral)

This topic has been debated to death. Do a search on "upper chest" or "muscle shape" and you'll see.

i am aware that muscle shape is primarily genetic, i.e. peaked biceps vs rounded..., shape probably wasn't the right word to use.

the only way I can think to explain what i am talking about is by examples, like if you are doing preacher curls and you only do the first half of the movement so you stop when your elbow is at a ninety degree angle, that is supposed to stress the part of the bicep closer to the elbow.

what i was hoping to find is a book of a bunch of these for many different exercises.

Dont know of one. The bicep is also different than the chest(way the muscles cross).
