what are the differences between subcutaneous fat and visceral fat? i know visceral is the deep fat thats a bitch to get rid of and subcutaneous is right under the skin. are there any main differences between the 2? thanks.

That's backwards. The subq fat is harder to get rid of, but is less dangerous as far as contributing to heart disease. The body takes the visceral fat first and dumps it into the blood to be either used by the muscles for fuel (fight or flight response and stress) or to settle out onto the blood vessel walls.
