Hard Day chest... My back KILLS

So I haven't really encountered this but I assume it's related. I took 5 days off as I was on a trip. I came back and jumped into a strong chest workout. I pushed as hard as ever as I had lots of energy for the workout.

I feel the pain in my chest... it's great! But my back today is FRIGGEN killing me... I can hardly move my head. Are they related?

this is why arnold worked back and chest on the same day, supposedly. Also said the combination of chest and back pumped up, was incredible!
