Maybe just do leg press instead of squats and lay off the deads for a while. I know it sucks, but I had to do it a few years ago. I'm just now getting back into doing squats, so it might take some time.
(I had the same diagnosis as you when I was about 16. I'm not sure if that is what caused my back problems or if it was an injury when I was younger. Regardless, I've always had trouble with my lower back.)
