Hernia

owwwweeeeeee sonnn off a bitch.. ... justt he thought of gettin a hernia makes my stomach hurt... I saw a post related to them earlier... If i add more weight to my barbell then I'm ready fro u say i can get a hernia?? or does this coem from improper form? can anyone please tell me what it takes to get a hernia and how i can avoid one??????? Any info that can keep my intestestines in their right place is greatly appreciated...Thank u soooo much.



currently 155 lbs ......goal 165 by november (thanks for the help )

I don't know too much about hernias but when I use a lot of weight on squats my right nut sometimes hurts

first of all NEVER hold your breath as this increases intra abdominal pressure leading to a grater chance of hernia among other bad things, ALWAY use good form to keep from twisting and stretching things into awkward positions. Warm up and stretch.

best prevention you can do....hernias suck...dont get one...i had bilateral inguinal hernias...had them surgically repaired.
