    Physical exam

I plan on getting my first physical ever and I want to get my moneys worth.
    1--What should I expect.
    2--What questions should I ask.
3--Is it part of the physical to have your testosterone and estrogen levels check?

I went for one a while back.. first one in probably 4 years(im 22). Dont be scared, all you do is go in and get looked over. You talk to the doc about any problems you might have, and then they take blood for cholesterol test. Thats it.

It depends on what your insurance allows for a "physical"

    Give them a call.
Some only allow a pap smear and breast exam in a woman, some will let the doctor check for anemia, cholesterol, diabetes, kidney and liver function , EKGs etc. It's really hard for doctor's offices always know since they probably take at least 50 different insurance carriers, all with different rules (that change from year to year and sometimes month to month) so an informed patient can help guide the doctor when he or she wants to order tests and you won't get stuck with a huge bill if the doctor orders something that may not be covered under your particular plan.
Testosterone and estrogen are not part of a routine physical and so no insurance will pay for it as part of a general exam.

I always loved going to the doctors for physicals. It was an annual thing, and really the only person who'd scope out that area other than myself. You all know what im talking about. There was a young trainee who did my physical, and she made me drop trou and boy did I enjoy it. It's got to suck to be a hot young doctor with all these horny little wieners having to be examined.

That would be hard for the doctor to do if they are in your mouth.
