    anyone know about tat infections?

seeing as there are a lot of knowledgeable people around here, i thought i would query you all. i recently got some tattoo work done, like so:

the thing is, my tats look fine, but the lymph nodes in my armpits are now red and a little tender. its not too bad, its not even been a week since i got the work done, so im hoping its just my body reacting to the foreign invader. i am monitoring it of course, if it starts getting worse or red streaking begins to appear i think that would signify something that needs looking at.
does anyone have any knowledge/experience with something like this?

    thanks team

I know that shit hurt!!!!once that needle hit's the back of your arm like that!! very nice work though.I've never had a problem like that after getting my tats, but the fact your getting this soon after getting them would make me kind of nervous and it couldn't hurt just to go get it checked out.

I've got several tats, and I've never experienced that Maybe just to be on the safe side, I'd go and ask a Dr. What do your Tats say? AWESOME work!!!

thanks for the responses guys. i think im going to wait a day or two, if its not clearing up ill go and get checked out someway.
the translation of the characters isnt that easy, if your familiar with Kanji then you probably know they do not always go easily into a literal translation, but basically, on my left arm, it says, 'the Way is in the pursuit of Harmony', or perhaps, 'Harmony is in pursuit of the Way'. my right arm has symbols for aspects of personality that i acknowledge within myself. from top to bottom: Emptiness (that which we seek in a cusp), Shadow (those shadows within ourselves that, perhaps we are not proud of, but they make us who we are, and define the light), Unwavering Intent (the courage and perseverance to live the path), and finally the symbol for life energy, or Qi.

yea it hurt pretty well too tommy but we like pain around here, dont we?

This ENORMOUS dude at a former gym of mine that was covered in tats and had a tattoo like that down his triceps.

This guy was a fucking BEAST. I routinely saw him closegrip bench 315 for reps like it was a broomstick.

Anyways, the tat going down his arm like yours said "INSANE". I don't know which tat made him scarier, that tat or the grim reaper on his neck...

anyways, bout your question, wait it out a few days, then if it doesnt improve, go see your Dr.

In the meantime, go to your tat artist and ask him about it. they know more than anyone...
