    Sleep

I sleep 8-8.5 hours on weekdays, but I don't wake up for about 12 hours on the weekends. I can't eat as much, because I'm not awake as long. Is there any reason I shouldn't wake mayself up after about 9 hours?

    Michael,
I don't see any reason to wake yourself up! Get as much sleep as your body is allowing you too. You can still eat every three hours and get a few protein shakes in. I wish I could sleep for 12 hours! Enjoy it now

I put sleep above eating personally, some people have a shake premade so if they wake up in the middle of the night they drink it, otherwise just continue sleeping.

however, 12 hours of sleeping seems a bit much for anyone IMO.

You can still eat the same amount of meals like any other day.. by eating every 2.5 hours instead of every 3

If your finding you need to be sleeping 12 hours or else your tired I would say your probably not sleeping enough during the week, or else your overworking yourself somewhere. If you just sleeping 12 hours because you can and hell, don't we all love sleep than I think it's fine, as long as you don't find yourself overtired during the day due to sleeping so much (some people get this way when they oversleep).

You have never eaten when stuffed?

Anywho, yes oversleeping can be bad. But you are still young, and for me 9 and sometimes 10 hours of sleep every day was normal. 12 though implies either depression, or that you genuinly need more sleep during the weekdays.

i have ahd days where i sleep all day - literally like fall asleep @ 7pm and wake up the next da around 5..lol

they say 8 hours? is the norm - anything more then that the body doesnt actually need and oversleeping can make you feel drained and tired suprisingly.
