    What supplements are bad for a weak liver?

    I want to know which one is bad being that I have liver disease.
    I really don't want to leave you guys anytime soon.

    Anything methylated. Ofcourse they are all illegal now..

    DITTO-------NOTHING METHYLATED!!!
    take liver supps year round, too. Milk thistle, NAC, ALA, etc. lots of H2O!

    I do take liver pills daily, I will resume taking Milk Thistle and I only drink water and Milk.
    No soda or liquer for me although I still drink coffee even though I was told it was bad for me.
    I never heard of the other stuff "NAC and ALA".

    ALA is used for a glucose transport. Its inferior to R-ALA, so if you go with one, get the R isomer. I dont see how it could help with the liver though.
