Nosebleeds
Hi, I have experienced nosebleeds everytime I weightlift.
I dunno what exactly causes this, but I've had them for the past 3 days in a row.??? It doesnt happen while I lift, about 3-5 hrs. later. Has anyone else had this happen? I also found a site that says one cause of nosebleeds is "Pressure" I don't know exactly what they mean by that, but is putting alot of weight on yourself same as putting "pressure"? Thank you in advance. Here is the site if any1 interested. http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/enc.../nosebleed.htm |

Thats a new one, I have never heard of that except when maxing out on squats. Did you ask a Doctor about it?

The lining of the nose is more likely to become dry and irritated from low humidity and a dry environment, have you recently started lifting in a new location? Or maybe perhaps the weather in your area has been quite dry for the past 3 days, contributing to your nosebleeds. Most nosebleeds occur on the tip of the nasal septum, which contains many fragile, easily damaged blood vessels. More rarely, nosebleeds occur higher on the septum or deeper in the nose, usually resulting from a direct impact to the nasal area. More importanly try and avoid "digging for nuggets" especially when the entire area is dry. Picking your nose upon certain conditions can be a great contributor to nosebleeds. |

Man can now fly through the air like a bird , swim beneath the ocean like a fish and burrow under the ground like a mole , and if he could only walk the earth like a man......this would truly be paradise.http://www.mwscomp.com/movies/grail/...s/n_sr-not.jpg

It could be because of the change in weather is causing some problems for your skin. When it changes from summer-winter and back again my skin goes through phases of being dry. I dont really get nose bleeds, but I do seem to recall having heard of people getting them before.
Perhaps find something at a pharmacy that they recommend to moisturize the inside of your nose. And no nose candy for at least two weeks ![]() ![]() |
