Try seeing a podiatrist.

ok maybe this should be in health but since i spend my time here...
does anyone have constant back pain? did sitting make it worse? what do you do for it? what have doctors told you? seen a chiro? what helped?

Try seeing a podiatrist.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

a foot doctor? hmm. there's an idea. it's not me btw but someone i'm close to.

If this persons legs are unbalanced walking will cause unnatural curvature of the spine to the right or left.

I discovered recently that putting a pillow under my back and keeping my back arched helps a lot.
So many uses for pillows.
manic makes a good point.
It might not be from sitting at all. A problem like an ingrown toenail that has been ignored a minute too long, or a pair of shoes where the support inside is worn and flattened, could cause a person to adjust the way they walk to compensate for the pain or discomfort, which could affect their positioning of the ankle/knee/hip, which could affect their posture to accomodate... left unattended or ignored something that seemingly minor and easy to fix could cause huge discomfort or permanent problems, imho.
it could also be from rough sex

try sleeping without any pillows under your head. Its great! like a whole night massager. good for the shoulder and neck pain.
