We're all 'guilty' of this.....no big deal.

Besides, we already knew Min0 had all of that other stuff, didn't we?

Well the doctor say's I have genotype 3 and he is putting me on ribavirin for 6 months.

This will probably hurt my training.

I may have had this for over 20 years. He's not sure.

Exactly. This was the case with my brother-in-law. There is really no way of telling how or where you might contract this, or any other "disease" for that matter. While the ground rules have been laid out for the most part, we are talking about a microorganism......who knows.

Have you been told how advanced this thing is?

He told me it isn't so bad, hopefully with the medication he say's I can get rid if it.

Funny, while I was there I wasn't in the right state of mind. Having this crap blows my mind.

Can you get rid of it? Or just repress it/minimize liver damage?

Either way, my (not formally uneducated and completely speculative...read disclaimer ) guess is that you'll continue to live a normal life....just live right and keep on truckin'. My Bro-in-law has shown no symptoms, and has maintained the same quality of life for twenty years...(and he drinks and smokes as well. Not that this is recommended)

I guess repress it, when I heard Pamela say she no longer has it I called shenanigans.
I still lead the same life I did before I found out I had it.
I just don't drink anymore.

Yeah, the no drinking policy would probably be helpful.

My Bro-in-law was drinking like a fish...not an abuser, mind you, but more than the average person. I suspect this will catch up with him later.

It represses it, took it last night and I feel like the Hulk body slammed me.

I may stop taking this medication.

Yeah that feeling would be hard to cope with for 6 months...unless it would really get rid of it.

I couldn't get out of bed from all the aches and pain, I never felt like this before.

Side effects are: unusual tiredness or weakness, headache, nausea, difficulty falling asleep, decreased appetite, muscle, joint and bone pain.

Well it's all true, I felt each and everyone of those.

I'll talk to my Doc on Monday mourning and let him know I can't do this.
