Question Why Am I Getting So Much Gas/Bloating?

Here's my diet so far today:

    - 2 scoops of weight-gainer + skim milk
    - 24 oz. Gatorade
    - 1 scoop of whey protein + skim milk
    - oatmeal + skim milk + raisins
    - 1% cottage cheese + low-fat yogurt
    - grilled chicken soft taco
    - 1/2 whole-wheat peanut butter sandwich

I never have any indigestion just a lot of bloatedness, discomfort, gas, etc.

Impressive 19inchpump, your stats are insane in your signature. You should start posting all your workouts in a journal!

Anyway, I need to start taking digestive enzymes or something.

The problem as I see it is nearly everything you posted can cause or add to gas problems. Milk, oatmeal and peanut butter would produce some rank fuel for me.

I would just switch out some of the foods you eat normally for ones you know won't produce much gas (lots of fruits don't and some do, most veggies seem to produce a good bit of gas, lean protein should not cause trouble, dairy you might want to reduce or temporarily eliminate). jmo.

you might have IBS starting, try drinking citrucel once day, a fiber drink, if the bloating goes away that most likely is what is going on... in the beginning you might have to work up to three drinks a day until it goes away and then back off to maybe one if that will sustain it, then...

    reduce stress

either way fiber is good for you and keeps you from getting diverticulosis / ...itis

Lots of milk there champ, and the PB, plus some fiber. I'm laughing already. Just throw in some pinto beans and you will be a FORCE.
