    Achilles Tightness

Well the past couple of months, my achilles have been really tight when waking up in the morning or after sitting around for a while, to the point that walking is tough and slow, until it gets stretched out a bit.

This started earlier in the summer, from ball hockey.

Any words of advice or worries?

Would more stretching correct this problem?

Ball hockey with skates? I always got that problem from rollerblades until I got used to them. I think since you are leaning forward all the time while playing hockey on them that when your tendon is not in the stretched position it is trying to heal. Did you just start from playing none at all to playing everyday or something like that. I would think it would get better if you just rested it a bit.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

It was Running ball hockey. I couldn't even tell you the last time I played Ball hockey before I start this summer.

The First Few weeks after each game, My achillies were very tight and sore all day for a few days after the game.

Now it is a regular thing, where either I have been sleeping, or not doing anything they are extremely tight, and difficult to walk on.

Also to note, when they are sore like this, it is painful to put pressure on it with my hands as well.

Yeah, I would just cut back a bit for a while and let it heal up. Is it high or low on the achillies, ie near the calf or near the heel?

Honestly I would say right in the Middle. But I guess probably closest to the Heal.

The Achilles doesn't have much blood flow, so healing or tendonitis will be a while to fix?
