Anyone know of any way to dilute benzoyl peroxide creams?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to maybe dilute a 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream to a 2.5% cream.

Cuz you can buy a 10% mix for the same price as a 2.5% mix. If you only need 2.5%... why not dilute 10% to 2.5% for the same price?

I see what you are wanting to do now. Well, if you have medical coverage/rx benefits a doc could order benz peroxide for ya, a big bottle of wash and it wouldn't cost much. Bottle lasts forever. If no rx coverage, then call local drug store and talk to the pharmacist. They can tell you if it would work and, if so, what medium to use to dilute it. I've used the benz/peroxide myself, but I have also used Plexion which is a sulfa based product for acne. I liked that better cause it didn't bleach my clothing and bed sheets. OR you could use it less often, see what pharmacist suggests. Tell him you need to stretch your buck a little farther, I know the skin products can really get expensive.
