    Pms-like symptoms

Okay, I'm nowhere near my period and I take birth control..low dose Ortho-Tricyclen. Anyways, all this week I've been experiencing PMS-like symptoms. Examples include bloating, even though I drink around 6 liters of water a day, acne, and sluggishness. This is most likely some sort of hormone related condition, but can any shed any light on the subject?

Get a complete thyroid panel (TSH, free T3, free T4, thyro-globulins) done along with an iodine level. Underactive thyroids are very under-diagnosed and many small tumors are missed. Also look at what supplements you may be taking, ephedrine and caffine (E/C stack) can and does mess with thyroid levels.

The first symptoms of thyroid problems that I had started out like mild PMS and I was also on low dose ortho tricylclen. What started as mild PMS (bloating, tired, weight gain, mood swings especially depression) increased from mild to severe within months to the point I thought at the age of 29 I was starting early menopause. I went from a week and a half of "PMS" to 3 weeks of "PMS". I gave new meaning to zero to bitch in less than 8 seconds. I tried taking Stacker 3 with no effect, if anything it made it worse. Long story short, I had a cancerous tumor on my thyroid that was causing my T3 and T4 to drop as well as screwing up other hormone levels. I ended up kissing my thyroid goodbye.
