rubbing thighs and sores
I have delt with this problem since highschool but this is really becoming a problem lately with training success. These hard bumps form where my thighs meet and go away leaving scars. Right now they are really big and painful during cardio. What causes this? Is it ingrown hairs agrivated by rubbing? How do top athletes deal with this problem with regard to treatment of the sores and prevention?
Right now treatment ideas would help. I have tried ice, rubbing creams, and shaving the area to prevent friction. Thanks ![]() |

i'm not sure but maybe if you try using a loofa or sisal mits when you shower it will prevent ingrown hairs if that is what they are n use powder to prevent friction??? maybe you could wear longer shorts so that your skin isn't rubbing together??? sorry, it sounds painful

Had the problem, typically due to adductors stronger than abductors. (muscles that pull your legs to the middle stronger than ones that pull legs out). Fix the problem, work the abductors. I haven't had the problem since I did the same. Most peeps can "close" the hip machine easier than "open" the other one.
