i got acne. its not all that bad. like a few zits here and there but i pop them and make them worse. I used clearasil. probably sucks and i think i am gonna stop using it... lol. all they are supposed to do is clean your pores and in doing so clean your face and make it dry. if its dry more of that oil (sebum) will be released to make sure the skin is moist or whatever and clean it, then it gets stuck and makes more acne.

Using just water seems like a logical option to me

I seem to do well when I don't wash much at all. The more natural body oil I have the better. I do better in summer months when I avoid dirt and dust

Shaving seems to clog my pores more than anything. I barely get any zits when I don't shave! But I also probably wouldn't get other things I like if I just didn't shave. So that may not be an option.

Suntanning seems to help me somewhat as does summer in general. Chlorine and being out by the pool is also beneficial for me.

Clearpore is a good treatment once you have zits imo.
