    Sore achilles

I am on my feet in retail sales about 35 hours a week and am having problems with pain in both achilles tendons.

I switched from dress shoes to nikes which always fit my feet better. That helped somewhat and is allowing me to work 35 hrs instead of 10-15.

I am able to take breaks and sit on the counter quite a bit and I also use a rest step technique when I am walking or standing.

Can you all think of anything else that might help this problem? I'd like to be able to work 40 hours with less pain than I can now.

I actually heard that sneakers are not the thing to wear if you have problems with your achilles something to do with it being too soft in the heel, I think.

You are probably right! I just gotta find out what kind of shoes are the right ones to wear. Dress shoes are horrible! That much I can say with certainty.
