    Testosterone test

How do you go about getting your testosterone tested? What do they do?

They will do it by blood sample. Make sure you get free and total testosterone levels tested. Can do it at your doctors office or from an online lab like directlabs or the like. Others will chime in with more detailed info.

I made an appointement March 11. 9:00am. I didnt' tell them I wanted a testosterone test. I just said I wanted to get blood taken. I'm assuming that they will ask me what I want when I get there. I def want cholesterol and testerone. What else do you guys think would be good to know?

Get a basic metabolic panel. that will give your hdl/ldl and triglycerides, liver values electrolytes and a fair amount of other stuff. Make sure you specify that you want to pay for both free test and total test in addition to the metabolic panel. If you want to know your thyroid levels you might get that checked.

PSA and urinary analysis would be good for prostate health check if you need it. Also checks stuff wrt kidney issues.
