    Oxygen Bar

I never heard of this before, can this be real?
    Read on.

    Link

Movie stars who have experienced the benefits are Uma Thurman, Calvin Klein, Cindy Crawford, Tom Cruise and Christy Turlington.
Why oxygen? Don’t you breathe it every day? Your body would rather get 95% oxygen but can’t. Usually your body breathes in a mere 21% oxygen along with other garbage.
Like many oxygen machines in hospitals, the oxygen bar filters out the "junk" in the surrounding air, such as carbon monoxide and other chemicals, and then delivers an uninterrupted flow of 95% oxygen into your body.
Benefits of 95% pure Oxygen have been stated as:
    • Enhances physical performance
    • Replaces depleted oxygen levels in your lungs and blood
    • Helps to recover your body between your workouts
    • Improves the body’s ability to burn fat
    • Increases alertness
    • Improves concentration
    • Boosts your energy levels
    • Invigorates you
    • Helps reduce symptoms of the common cold
    • Relieves symptoms associated with sinus conditions
    • Improves the way you look (puts the color back in your face)
    • Boosts your immune system
    • Manages Stress and Relaxes You
      1. Helps relax muscles after a workout
      2. Helps relax your body after a stressful day or right after a stressful situation
    • Helps relieve pain, associated (overall) effects and the number of occurrences of:
      1. Headaches
      2. Migraines
      3. Cluster Headaches
      4. Tension Headaches
    • Helps reduce the aging process in skin
    • Promotes restful sleep
    • Helps you recover from jet lag

They have oxygen bars about every five feet in Vegas. Usually they're pretty empty, or, crowded by a group of drunk people.

The average person has a blood oxygenation level of 98-99%. Do you think increasing that to say 99.9% for a couple of hours is going to make any difference?

BTW, "Having experienced the benefits" is equivocal to saying "Have tried it before".
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

But, would you think that .9% more blood oxygenation would make a difference, also keeping in mind that it never dips below 90% and that the bottleneck occurs at the extraction rate of the muscle, not in the amount the blood carries.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I'd rather get use some EPO and then hang out at the oxygen bar.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

thoug u ave people who have asthma, and other ealth issue with a level of 93-97, so upping this to 99, is a 2-6% increase.
These are my dreams, which I must make reality!

It's irrelevant, the level is constantly around that number so that is not the limiting factor, extraction rate is.

Its BS, yes we would all benefit from breathing healthier air but its not feasible that we all walk around with air tanks. And this is just another trend like bottled water so businessmen can turn a 500% profit.

These oxygen bars are useless, just as applying an oxygen mask to someone who's having a panic/heart attack, it makes people believe they are getting something extra.

We've evolved (not Intelligently Designed) sufficiently that our saturation % is near perfect for our bodies.
I love it when a plan comes together.

FishOrCutBait - I threw it in because it's on a par with oxygen bars.
