Why is alcohol bad?
Well I know that alcohol is bad on many levels but every once and a while I drink socially (maybe 3 times a month) and every once in a while I end up with a hangover cause I had a bit too much. Well the fiance broke off the engagement so my buddies decided we were partyn to try and help me out. Needless to say I had WAY too much. For future planning what seems to be the best technique for fighting the hangover OTHER than not drinking. Today I had bread, water, and advil. Are there better things to consume to make the situation easier?

Drink tons of water while you are drinking, and even more when you finish.Originally Posted by higney85

If i feel like shit the next morning i just pop an advil, drink 3 glasses of water take a hot shower then drink another glass or two of water. Shortly after that i feel 100%.

eat a meal before you start drinking, this will slow down the absorption of the alcohol.
Hell yeah. And as Robert said, make sure you eat before drinking.Originally Posted by MWpro

Last thing I try to do before passing out is drink 2 large glasses of water and pop a couple of asperin. Makes a world of difference on the wake up.
