    Keep getting sick after lifting

I really dont know what the deal is, but I keep getting sick. Ill get better, go back to lifting, and Ill get sick again. I think it might be my tonsils, because they always stay swollen.

Could be diet, sleep habits, general hygenics. It could be mono. Have you seen a doctor? Had any blood tests?

    1. Whenever I get back in the gym, Im eating really clean and taking all my vits and what not, and I always drink a lot of water
    2. This is def. a factor in whatever it is, I never get near enough sleep as i need
    3. Im a pretty cleanly person, I always wash my hands throughout the day, etc.
    4. Ive never thought of that, but the only thing is, I keep getting better... Ill be fine for several days, and then Ill lift, get through a back or chest day, and Ill get sick. Im gettin pissed because Ive got mad chicken legs now

and I should be seeing a doctor sometime this week, and no I havent had any blood tests... needles... *shiver*

I hear ya man, I've been having the same problem lately. I'll be fine for about 2 weeks and then get another sickness, most are all just minor colds though. I'm going to start taking about 30 grams of glutamine peptides a day to try to combat this issue. I'll keep you posted on my results.

Try taking a week off after you take time off to recover. Even though you don't feel sick your body still needs a little rest from fighting off infection.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

i took almost 3 weeks off, but to no avail. Im goin to the doc tomorrow, gonna have her hook me up with some good stuff. Had to go to the nurse practitioner the last couple times and she basically sent me home with a bill in one hand and NOTHIN in the other. Thats BS if you ask me.

BTW, I got the walking pneumonia, Ive had it before, and this has gotta be it again. Congestion in my chest that I just cant get worked out, a wheeze, phlegm in the nasal cavity that just keeps comin back, etc.
