    lost my voice

    I lost my voice the other day screaming at my bitch now ex-girlfriend on the phone. I am trying not to speak at all, anything else I can do to get it back quickly?

    Absolutely nothing. When trained vocalists lose their voices they will not even speak let alone sing, for the duration of the problem. Swollen vocal chords are just like any other injury. The less you speak, the quicker they will heal.

    P.S. I'm a music major, I actually know what I'm talking about this time!

    Try to boil water with crushed ginger and drink it like a tea...and if you didn't like the taste of it, a little amount of sugar will do...Try it, it works!
