    Systemic Corticosteroids and Resistant Excema

Not sure if this is the right section to post this, however I have a stubborn excema type skin condition on my shin that has not responed to a potent topical cortisteroid.

My dermatologist has is going to commence a course of systemic steriod injections. I understand these are not anabolic and are synthetic derivatives of cortisol.

Has anyone had any experience with these? Are these injections enough to create a catabolic effect on my lifting? Are there any sides to watch for?

    Some advice/feedback would be appreciated.

Lets Treat the Cause and not the Symptoms

You are seeking control of an dermal inflammatory disorder.

I propose we address the underlying cause to resolve it.

Are you interested? I would prefer this practical approach, rather than messing with adrenal function via corticosteroid treatment.

I will also connect the interesting results observed when exema and related skin conditions (psoriasis and acne) are treated with so called miraculous healing waters, in a very unusual hypersaline pothole lake near here.

I would very much appreciate any assistance you can offer. I have read many of your posts and I really respect your opinions, knowledge and advice provided.

Im not sure what you exactly proposed but I certainly would like to find out more about the cause of the excema.

    Thank you.

The biochemical cause of your excema is straightforward, but its manifestation is also usually associated with one or more factors in daily habits and diet.

First, tell me a little about your lifestyle. Typical day (hours of sleep, when to bed, sleep quality), what your day is like, relaxation, cardio. When is your energy highest, day or evening? Blood sugar problems? Do you figit if you are inactive? When you do you lift (time of day, per week).

Then give me a sample day for diet. Give me a quick run down of supps. Pay attention to your fat sources, need to know them.

Tel me your bodytype: ecto, meso, endomorph. Parents types and siblings.

    Describe your emotional self.

That should do it. Keep your answers short, PM them to me please, don't list them here.

    Thanks sir.
