    Chest pain

Been having a weird feeling in my chest lately. on the inside of my right pec, close to my heart not a HUGE pain, but weird uncomfortability. Feels like it needs to be stretched/cracked. I stretch daily, sometimes twice, I dont know what it could be. Maybe creatine swelling my heart and using too much weight/straining all the time? It's weird.

doctor told me jack shit. you'd think he'd take my chest pain a little fucking more seriously.

anyway, what im 90% sure it is, is an overgrowth of muscle tissue or enlargement of an organ due to hypertrophy, creatine, and or both. I've been training with 3 reps or below for awhile now. im throwing creatine away and never using it again and finally listening to my dad with 30yrs gym exp. i'm going back to bodybuilding for the time being, but before that im taking a week off to try to flush this shit out of my body

there was actually 3 people on the news recently that died from their aorta/heart failure and it was gym related. scary shit.

Think it could be just a muscle strain?

    Overtrain CNS much?

Yeah that is scary. When did you start having it? Could be a million things. Could be your stomach and not your heart, could be a muscle tear, or streched rib cartilidge. Doctors don't seem to help unless you lie. Tell him you have heart palpitations so he will give you an ECG. Then get an x-ray. If you think it may be heart related, see a cartiologist. I wouldn't worry too much if you lift and do cardio. I wouldn't worry, unless you've used AAS before.

    Good luck.

thanks BigDyl, i went to the ER today and had an EKG done, as well as an x-ray. My heart is fine, i wasnt really given a diagnosis as to what it was but its most likely muscular, or CNS related. They recommended me to a cardiologist, i may go, but seeing as its not heart related its not a prob. My resting heart rate was 47 which is pretty good, so i'll probably take the weekend off, see how I feel monday and start training again in the 8+ rep range

Problem with energy supply to the chest wall.

Not a problem with hypertrophy of the heart at all. You jump to conclusions and throw away a perfectly good supplement.

BigDyl has it rightly; YOU are the problem, with your stress overload. You are short of magnesium, necessary to efflux calcium from muscles, including the diaphragm. If you are using stimulants, this makes the problem more pronounced.

Use taurine and magnesium to help reduce this symptom. Hydrate better. You must use NAC, in small quantities (500 mg) a couple times a day, to get proper benefit of creatine.

Your doctors couldn't give you a diagnosis because you are asymptomatic for cardiac disease. Its similar to getting a stitch in your side. Not life threatening. However, it is a sign that all is not well; change your training (as you indicate), rest more, watch your diet and sleep, and use the supps I recommend to help calcium move correctly in and out of muscle and motor unit cells.

    Trouble,
Could you expand on this a bit more? Quicker activation/reactivation? I'm confused.
