Temporary gyno from binge drinking??
I went binge drinking on a houseboating trip for three nights in a row. That equals out to prolly being hammered from 5pm to 3am for three nights in a row. Anyways i woke up the morning (sunday) after the last night and my left nipple was swollen and hurt like a bitch. "Gyno" i thought. I was all freaking out about it. This morning tho the pain and swelling has gone down a lot and its pretty much back to normal.
Ive heard drinking can increase estrogen levels. Do you think it would be enough to cause temporary gyno? I've only done one very small cycle but that was well over two years ago so i dont think it's from that. Anyone know if drinking causes gyno? |

Alcohol does increase estrogen, and although it may have contributed to the possibility, I don't think it caused it.

I'd go with the kinky sex over the alcohol as the cause. Kinda doubt even a three day bender would aggravate aromatase enzyme in liver that quick.
You probably weren't in coherent condition to *remember* the kinky bits. LOL. Outside chance would be if you used Tren-ace in that little cycle couple yrs back. It does seem to sensitize some folks ductal cells. |

You have a previous history of resistant (not self resolving) gyno that required surgery. Why not answer the question for yourself. Type in this search term into Google: tren-ace and gyno. I'm sure you don't want that remaining 10% to become abnormally active.
Thanks for asking. Not everybody will have this problem; those that do have problems with bloat as well. Edit: On thinking and reading on this problem, for those prone to breast tissue ductal cell activation (gyno), use of moderate (800-1000 iu/day, dose spread over the day) use of vitamin E may help in the management of symptoms. I say moderate because it can bioaccumulate; excessive dosing is not recommended. I use mixed tocopherols (family of vitamin E compounds) rather than pure synthetic as gamma tocopherol has been shown to have potent immune regulating properties.
