TRouble I have been researching alot of your post on methylation liver pathways and supplementation. i think all of the people concerned with well eing and health need to be aware of this because it could be difference in living a happy and healthy life vs one filled with anxiety and poor health. We all appreciate your incredible responses, but would it make it easier for you just to make your self like a sticky that you can refer to explaining this to an ordinary person. I think it would be a great reference and make things on you alot easier. Just a thought. little do people know that years of self abuse has literally drained the life out of our livers/ sulfur reserves leading to gut, thyroid, brain imbalances.
Unfortunately, the chemisry is complex and the supplementation is NOT straightforward, its condition specific. Its easy to over supplement for those who are not severely undermethylated. Some metabolic and neurological conditions are due to overmethylation - again, this is not a trivial supplementation correction, as has multiple causes, including enzyme polymorphisms, missing alleles, expression regulation problems as well as liver pathophysiology with or without malsorption contribution.
I see your point it is better be an individulaized basis since there are different degrees. I am also curiious since supplementing with methyl donors is it TMG and samme is it neccessary to take the converted form of b-12 Methycobalin, folic acid Folonic acid since the TMG and samme are going to supply the methygroup for their formation.
