seious question
Ok here's my story, I've been on the sauce for alot of years, recently I had to have Brain surgery I had a subdural hematoma (which is basically bleeding of the brain), I was on a cycle at the time, I came out of the surgery fine, he removed the blood clot and the pressure in my head from all the blood build up, but the doctor told me before I left the hospital 3 days after surgery to stay away from anything that would thin my blood and cause my brain to start bleeding again, so when I got home the next day I took some multi vitamins, and throughout that week I took 1 75mg AD pill every other day and 1 shot of cyp for the week that's it, I went back to the doctor the following week for another CT scan on my head, then went to see the doctor after the scan to my head, well it turns out my head started bleeding again according to the scan, so he asked what I did for this to happen again, I told him what I did, which is what I stated above he said multi vitamins contain vitamin E which thins your blood (he did tell me not to take vitamin E) so I don't know what I was thinking guess I wasn't . So I asked him well will the roids I'm taking have caused my head to bleed, do they thin my blood? He said he did'nt know because he's a head doctor. He did mention also that I can't do anything that causes my blood presure to rise, well the roids may have done that, I don't know.... The reason I say I don't know is because I did'nt take that much for that to happen in such a short time.
So I guess that's leads me to my question for you guys..... Do roids or these particular roids thin my blood? Or would such low doses of these roids in a short period of time cause high blood presure, and in turn cause my head to bleed? So do you guys think I should stay off the juice for awile just in case or do you think I should quit forever? I know it's my decision and I'll make that decision, but I would like to hear some of your opinions as to what you would do if this were you in this situation..... Thanks Chopper |

I can't believe I just read that... Your test-cyp obviously raised your blood preassure causing the bleeding... Get off the roids, READ UP ON EVERYTHING YOU TAKE, GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR, AND GET OFF OF EVERY SUPPLEMENT YOU ARE TAKING, NOW! |

Sheesh. Y'all didn't need me to figure it out. You had the answer.
Yeppers. Test would raise blood pressure. Test would also induce local inflammation at your injury location in the brain (as well as subdural trauma from invasive surgery itself) that may cause capillary leaking in newly healing tissue. If you haven't stopped using the test, please do so. High doses of vitamin E may cause bleeding; moderate doses in most multivitamins would not. Grabbed this online: pretty accurate list: "you should avoid large quantities of those supplements that reduce platelet aggregation and promote easier bleeding, especially when using any blood-thinning medication. Examples of these include: tocotrienols, fish oils, curcumin, gingko biloba, grapes and grape juice, testosterone, vitamin E over 300IU/day, vitamin B6 over 150-200mg per day, large doses of essentail fatty acids, garlic, taurine and gugulipids. Aspirin and some NSAIDS should be used with caution." That should help. So, what did the doc say about the residual bleeding? Problematic, or will it subside and reabsorb over time? Note: the majority of this thread formed in 6 minutes! Are you people bored or what??!! (just kidding - good job guys) |
