    Burning Fat?

Alright guys, here's the deal. My girl wants to lose some fat (like 25+ pounds) and asked for my help with it since I work out sometimes and, I guess she thinks I might happen to know something about it. Well, I don't.. I've never really had that problem before...

SO, how in the world do I help her with this? She doesn't have the time to transportation to go to a gym, so the stuff she does has got to be around her home.

I've read everywhere that "if you burn more calories than you eat, you'll lose fat." Is this the main thing you watch for? Just count your calories and try to burn more than you eat? Are those charts that tell you how many calories each activity burns, really accurate? They say things about counting off calories while you sleep, sit, and stand. You count all those?

Sorry about all the questions... I really am a real dummy when it comes to this stuff.. I'm reaaally hoping to get someone out there that knows some stuff to help us..

I know she has the will power to do just about anything, within reason, and she really wants to do this.. She also knows it won't be fast or easy.... We just need to know how.

    Thanks a ton, guys..

Caloires in vs calories out it simple math, but you need to have enough caloires to sustain body mass as well as bodily functions or you will end up burning muscle and storing fat. What most common people in general population do. Every thing in moderation in a nice balnaced diet would be all that is need with proper exercise both weights and cardio. Start out slowly and gradually increase other wise you will end up burning her out and getting frustrated. Shoot for 1-2 lbs of weight drop per week is a healthy amount. just keep her active plenty of good sex and keep her stress levels undercontrol she will be fine. Focus on diet and lifestyle modifications before even thinking about any kind of diet pills or supplements. Just have her go for brisk walk 30 minutes once a day and then eventually 2 times a day. Make sure you get out side and enjoy the sun as much as you can because it will help her in alot of different areas. When women start to loose weights its majority (60% muscle and 20% fat and 20% water). thats whyhaving adquet caloires are essential so this does not happen other wise you end up looking like Oprah

BMR = 10 times body mass average for daily function
AMR (activity levels) depends on how active she is during the day time
