    Sinus Headaches

I have been having these sinus headaches lately. I can't sneeze. I feel a lot of pressure in my head. When I shake my head it feels like I have a headache. I have been taking alka-seltzer cold and sinus and advil cold and sinus. They both have been helping. I am need something to open up my sinus's to release the pressure. I have gas heat in my house and usually sleep with the window cracked and use a humidfier. Anyone else suffer from these? What can I do to help remedy these headaches? Thanks.

I guess that is possible because everyone here at work has been sick. I have had the headaches for about 3 days now. I feel fine other then the headaches. I've been working out, playing basketball, tennis and feel fine other then the pressure in my head.

Simple but effective cure: extremely spicy food. Personally I like wasabi, because it gets the job done but doesn't burn your mouth for too long.

My coworker was talking about green tea + a shot of whiskey as a good home remedy, but I haven't tried it myself.

A hot shower can also help get some moisture up there.

Hopefully those things will help while the headache lasts...

I've always had bad sinus problems. Most of it due to a bad habit I developed a couple years ago that I recently stopped... yeah. Anyway, I just started taking an NO2 supplement and it seems the extra blood flow helped clear up my head congestion. Needless to say, I breath MUCH better.
After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

That sounds like a pretty harsh dosage of meds for just a sinus problem. What exactly did she say it was?

She said it probably is a sinus infection. She didn't hear anything when she listented to my chest. You can see I'm stuffed up in my face. Nothing has come out yet so we don't know if I'm infected or not. I still haven't sneezed. Nothing is coming out. My head is killing me. I want to leave work.

My nose still runs like crazy but I believe it is just trying to push out all the toxins and shit from smoking and eating like a maniac. It seems to be getting progressivly better as the days go on and my workout gets longer and harder. Anyway, I wish you the best and let us know how the meds work out for you.

I'll tell you what will drain every fluid from your head is tear gas in a small room filled with the stuff and you're standing there with a gas mask on then a Navy Drill Instructor rips it off and makes you hold a conversation for 10 seconds and then take a deep breath.............if you don't puke your lungs out every booger and snot glob will drop from every hole in your head and drool will stream from the corners of your mouth like when you used to fall asleep with your head on your desk at school, then 10 minutes later after your dried out eyes start to show some white and you changed out of your snot rag clothes you'll be breathing like a well-bred race horse....

I've sniffed every pepper in my house. I get nothing. I've sniffed spices and all sorts of stuff. Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna sneeze but I don't. It really sucks.

Yup, me too. My stomach bloats up, I feel like shit, and I would rather do illegal drugs than that shit. I've taken them maybe twice in my life and would rather find a natural method around my problems then some synthetic shit.

Yeah I don't think I need them. I'm gonna stop taking them. I will continue with the decongestent even though it hasn't worked yet.

Try a pro-biotic instead. They are much better for you than an anti-biotic.

Natures Life makes one for sinus issues. Probiotic Sinus Ease

Another thing to try is Nurtibiotic Defense Plus.

I stopped taking the anti-biotics after two days of using them. I finished the decongestent. I finally sneezed late last night after a night of drinking. I sneezed about 3 times today. I feel a lot better. I think it has something to do with the heat in our house. I do sleep with a cold-mist humidifier but that doesn't seem to help. Anything else I can do to prevent sinus issues?
