Pinched nerve? You should probably see a doctor if the twitching persists. Better to be safe than sorry.

My wife had a gastric bypass and it's common for people that have had this procedure to experience this twitching. The primary cause (99& of the time) is low potassium. If you're sweating a lot at the gym and not taking a lot of potassium you should probably get some. It's water soluble so it's released when you sweat. You'll need more than 100% RDA because your not an average Joe if you're pumping hard in th gym.

Try it. I bet I'm right. I've been to so many gastric bypass patient's meetings I'd bet money on it (and I'm an acountant!)

Ya more water would be a great idea and also twitching can be due to stress or restlessness, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to take a break and kick up the H2O intake. Take it easy
