Wasn't sure where to put this.....

Sinc starting to eat cleaning and adhere to a fitness regimen of sorts, I find that my tolerance for alcohol has gone down.

I had a couple drinks last night with friends, and I was hammered after 4 drinks and typically that might just have me buzzin. I've noticed this the last few times I've gone out actually.

So is it possible? I will say that I used to drink 2-3 days a week before new program, and now I drink on one weekend day a week if at all. So due to frequency I can see things going down, but not this much.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

Uthinkso I wouldn’t be concerned about what u can drink alcohol wise I used to be able to drink alcohol that would put a normal guy. If u have low body fat u wont be able to drink as much as someone who has a high body fat. Its all about body mass if u can build your muscle mass up to a higher level your body will be able to consume more alcohol.

Try to eat carbs before u go out drinking u can also take redbull or energy drinks that help allot. When you buy rounds and its your turn try and buy something lighter such as instead of a double vodka and coke have a single vodka and coke. Instead of getting a pint of beer get a bottle of beer this way u don’t consume as much and use the excuse I like my beer cold and that it tastes better from the bottle which it does also u don’t wish for your beer to be spiked.

Go for something different so when your pals ask for a vodka and coke get a soft drink that u cant get out the tap at the bar. These are all things u can do to stay in the game. Never be a stinge but dont bedaft either.

Did you read the post above???

The question is pretty clear, can diet effect tolerance.

As a side note, I just looked at my first post. Typo city!!! I really need to learn not to post when I'm ready to pass out.

    yes.

diet can effect your metabolism that will speed up the rate at which the alcohol in absorbed into the blood stream. the amount of food in your stomach can also slow the rate of ingestion, and simply having energy from eating will help you control the buzz and not get sloppy drunk.

After months of daily drinking, then cutting to only on the weekends, I had four beers when out to dinner on a Friday night and was as drunk as I would usually be off 12.

I can feel the effects before half a beer is finished.
