    Metabolism

How can u tell if ur metabolism is indeed faster or getting faster? A friend of mine said that the amount of craps u take is an indication but i highly doubt thats true. I always thought that after a meal, if u get hungry not too long after is an indication.

To get a good reading you need to go into a lab and undergo some kind of calorimetry.

I think there is a watch I want to buy that has that thing...runs that test on you....or it runs a test on you only some $1000 test at a doctor can do...is that it? I don't know but for my cutting efforts I am going to get this Polar watch to help me monitor myself.

I'm confused by what a fast metabolism means due to conflicting info. If you have a fast metabolism it means you convert more food to energy than storing it as fat or muscle. At least that was my understanding. But I hear some say it means you process food more quickly thus storing it as fat or muscle and it causes you to eat more. So a fat person would have a fast metabolism. But I though it was the other way around and a skinny person would have a fast metabolism? So which one is it?
