    Colonics......

I was reading a piece this weekend in some damn magazine talking about the BB diet and how most people can benefit from a colonic. Anyone had it done or considered it? Where would someone go for this type of thing???
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

Colonics are just this side of voodoo magic.

But hey, if you like a tube up the poopshute, go for it.

I'd imagine they are pretty good to have done. Kinda like flushing out the radiator in your car. Probably pretty painful though. I don't know where you would get them done. Do a google search on them.

Cars do not have self-regulating, self-maintaining, systems. That's like saying you need to get your stomach pumped every now and then for "good maintenance".

Exactly... your body isn't a car. You work your muscles, they get better. You work your car and it slowly degrades.

They are good. Some people have 20+ pounds of fecal matter that is sucked out in one session. If youou will likely be 5-10 pounds ligther after- and that's not water loss- just shit!

If you don't have a bowel movement 3-4 times a day you for sure have something to clean out. You will feel like a new man.

Just phone a few places in your area and ask them what they exactly do and what you need to do beforehand to prepare. They cost around $60 where I am from.

They can be helpful to those that have IBS with constipation issues. The biggest problem with people that have IBS is that peristaltic waves are not working properly. Colonics help retrain the colon and activate the peristaltic waves so that your colon can start functioning again properly. People that abuse laxatives or hold their bowels too long before going also have this issue.

Now for the everyday person that has no problem going on a regular basis, I don't feel that they would be beneficial.
