well practically speaking have never heard of any such massage therapy and even I would like to know in details about this. Massage no doubt is an integral part of any sports as it helps to relieve the tension and the stress that the muscles have to endure but then the thing needs to be done in the right manner. So it would be better if any new kind of massage is known that can provide greater help.
Would love to know about the premarin

I had the real deal deep tissue message, and the shit hurt. The chick used her knuckles make make the muscles release and get ride of knots. I felt sore the next 2 days like the kind of soreness you get after having worked out for the first time in a while. I have no idea if it is related, but my numbers shot up about or around the time I had the message. It could have been pure coincidence, so don't quote me on this. As far as whether I liked it or not, I probably will go for the swedish message next time.

I love massages. I always get a sports/deep tissue massage. I hate that relaxing swedish massage bullshit. I want someone to work on my soft tissue fro real.

The pay is going to very depending on where you live. Out here in AZ, I can get a great 70-massage for $60. In NYC, I could have gotten the same massage for $100-120 depending on where I went. So there is a huge difference there. The bad thing about it is that for $100-120 you don't want to take a chance on someone and get a shitty massage since that would be a huge waste of money. I would get lots of referals before I go. If you are in NYC, try and find someone who works with the athletes. I know there is a guy out in Long Island that does all the pro's out there and the bodybuilders as well and he does Active Release therapy (a really tough kind of soft tissue work) and he takes health insurance. Around the Union Square area, there is a women that does the NFL players (I can't remeber the place she is at).

I have had both, any good therapist is capable of doing either type of massage, yes some will use elbows, they also have little "tools" they use.

I happen to be a licensed MT in san diego. A massage shouldnt 'hurt' if what you are after is relaxation. if you are looking for help with chronic ischemic tissue, posture issues, etc., the massage you get may feel painful, but the therapist is not introducing pain into your body, they are simply uncovering it. get a sports/swedish massage if you just want to relax.
